As most of you are probably aware, the flu is hitting hard and heavy this season. There have been numerous flu related deaths in the U.S., and studies show that this year's vaccination is less than 40% effective in fighting off the virus. However, this DOES NOT MEAN that you should avoid being vaccinated.
Here is a list of the CDC's "Take 3" Actions to fight the flu. 1. Take the time to get the flu vaccine 2. Take everyday preventive actions to stop the spread of germs 3. Take flu antiviral drugs if your doctor prescribes them (www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/preventing.htm)
